Today: Writing a critical analysis of 1999′s …But I’m a Cheerleader for a class on human sexuality and psychology, specifically focusing on conversion therapy and gender norms. Doing some heavy reading, my friends. Wish me clarity.
Tonight: More writing. Mythology? But perhaps, also, doodling? Comics? A videogame? And perhaps rain? That would be nice.

Drawing these funnels my mental static and twitching and shaking into a clear focused action – like writing without the noise and sequential interruption of words.
Technique inspired by some beautiful dotwork tattoos I’ve seen around, and influenced by my ongoing process of learning movements in making that do not harm my body.
